How’s this for a new print? It’s Luna. :3
I’ve been feeling a lot of anger lately so I’ve been watching shows I used to watch as a kid, really innocent cute shows like Timothy Goes to School. Lilly is my absolute favourite character and I just had to draw her. She reminds me of my kid self.
I’ve drawn Demons, and now I’ve drawn some concepts for the Angels. These are just sketches so they aren’t anything amazing. But I’m hoping to colour them at some point along with the demons.
The Angels tend to be quite tall, with long but strong legs. Their legs are covered with feathery fur from behind. They have huge brush-like tails. The tips of their ears are curled. They have short manes but the furlocks are normally very long compared. Angels also have huuuuge wings, way bigger than Celestias. The bigger the wings, the more powerful the Angel. Their wings are never really seen folded in and are always held up high by their sides. Their eyes are always glowing. They have short but sharp teeth.
Their coat is normally white, with the occasional very light, pale sky colours like blue. The bright glow around their head is pretty much their halo.
Angels do not have a gender, unless they have possessed a pony of a certain gender. This is their original form. When possessing somebody, that pony’s eyes will glow bright white.
Edit: I will probably write more information on them when I line art and colour them.
I wanted to make Angel and Demon “pones” too, so here are the demons. They are part horse-like I guess? Their front hooves are replaced with dragon claws, as well as their huge, ripped dragon-like wings. This form of them is usually only seen in Hell. I drew a little sketch of what a pony would look like when possessed. Pitch black eyes with black blood seeping down their faces, and small fangs. Some demons know how to disguise themselves and blend in with the pony race. Others use possession to unleash Hell onto others.
Now to draw the Angels!
(right after my tummy ache goes away)
The Four Horses of the Apocalypse
I decided to design them for my Klausen universe (which means yes, they’ll appear in the much later comics). With lots of research and inspiration, I tried my best to make each horse look like a good enough interpretation for what they symbolize. (By the way I’m using the term “horses” instead of “ponies” because come on, “The four ponies of the Apocalypse” sounds kinda gay.) I DO plan to design a Conquest, although he may be more mentioned rather than featured in Klausen.
Each of these horses are a little taller than the average size of a regular stallion.
Pestilence is an underweight stallion, covered in boils and growths. He has rotten skin peeling off from his body, so badly that even part of his bones are exposed. You can see this if you look closely at his right hind leg. He’s surrounded by a plague of flies and insects. Maggots and vomit are dripping from his mouth. His mane and tail are in terrible condition (although that is nothing compared to everything else wrong with him). And of course, his eye hanging out from its socket. Pestilence himself is well, a pest. I also imagine that Pestilence reeks badly of rot and vomit and horrid things…
Famine is an extremely underweight stallion. The lack of nutrition has caused the hairs of his mane and tail to fall out. Some of his bones are exposed due to Famine being so starved that he’s attempted to devour himself. Due to his weak state, Famine can barely speak, as well as his struggle to walk as he drags his legs and body behind him.
War is the most vicious-looking, and sounding, as he now and again cries out in roars of pain and anger. He’s covered in incredibly strong armor that is impossible to be broken. He has barbed wire stuck into the flesh of his right hind leg. War also has a bit in his mouth, attached with huge, heavy chain reins. The fetlocks of his legs are ignited, as well as his tail. Blood is seeping down his body from underneath his armor. War always has streaks of blood down his face from his dark glowing eyes.
Death is the most peaceful of them. He doesn’t move much and always keeps his head held high. He’s usually seen with a ripped black cape. He has a white face marking. His rib cage is exposed, as well as his bottom jaw. He has completely plain white eyes and a long, silvery tail. Death will come to anybody who touches him.
I had so much fun designing these. They are only sketches for now but I can’t wait to line art and colour these all.
